Tired of the soulless 9-to-5 grind? Wishing every day for a faraway relative to whisk you away to a life of leisure and luxury? Well, we can't provide all the luxury, but everyone knows the farming life is a life of endless leisure (disclaimer: opinion not available in all areas, you will have to find out for yourself, won't you?); as such, the fine folk of Puffin Town may not be your long-lost family members, but we're sure it'll feel like it by the end of the day. Soon, it'll be like you've always been here.

Welcome to Morning Dews Valley! We're a private, 3 week invite-only murdergame run by Limon Basil, Fyre and Luna starting this March! Sow and reap and do your damnedest to take home the prize ribbon at the county fair, make absolutely sure your neighbors can't get in your way, and enjoy the unparalleled taste of pastoral bliss in this small town nestled in the gently sloping hills and dales of not-quite-Stardew Valley.

This will be a memloss-centered, powers-off game set in a small farming community, and while characters will be expected to provide for themselves, a local intranet will allow them to communicate over a limited network. The sticks are quite 'grammable when they aren't the scene of the crime. ⛏

🌼 Morning Dews Valley is direct invite only and plans to accommodate up to 25 characters. If you have an invite from Limon Basil, Fyre or Luna you are good to go! Currently, there are no plans to open up +1s, but we will update you on discord if that changes.

🌼 Reserves and applications will open February 23rd, 1PM EST. Applications will be due March 1st, 1PM EST with game start at March 2nd, 1PM EST. MDV will run for 3 weeks with investigation and trial each week.

🌼 While the setting is adjacent to and based off of the Stardew Valley game, it is not taking place directly in Stardew canon.

🌼 The game will be scapegoat style with private conversations (PCs) and a network but not a traditional graveyard. Nevertheless, the dead will have something to do... ☆

🌼 Open to characters that are at least mentally 16+ (14+ with suitability writeup). This game will be powers off. We have a combined franchise/canon cap of 3.

🌼 Murders will run off a proposal system based on an overarching IC incentive for characters to kill. If needed, we'll utilize the killer/victim preference in the application to facilitate murder.

🌼 Investigations will take place Friday, 5PM EST. Trials will run Saturday, 1-8PM EST, and executions will be player-run on Sundays.

🌼 Game discussion and organization will take place in the dedicated discord server.
