Farmstead Map

Each farmstead of the Puffin Town community boasts its own cozy cottage and a fenced plot of land as well as a small barn for farmyard animals -- though, those animals are currently missing for who-knows-what reason. Maybe it's the same reason there's only ducks on staff??? A number of the plots have grown wild; it looks like no one's been tending them for at least a season, but that just means there's plenty of space for new crops, along with a well drawn from an underground spring.

You may need to clear out a bunch of weeds and rocks and junk, but it's well-known that manual labor builds character. Besides, the ground here is unusually fertile and will reward just about anything short of spitting on it.

The cottages are quaint but roomy: the second floor serves as a communal bedroom (full of single beds, because we've got room out here) and shared bath, kitted in the colors and drapes of the household flower -- while the first floor provides an open plan kitchen and living area for entertaining. There are no TVs (alas), but you do get a fireplace, inexplicable off-model plastic figurines of everyone in the house, and a couple of plush sofas for comfort to listen to the chunky radio on the mantel. Each house also comes with a gigantic oil painting of a puffin over the fireplace.
